Sit Alone and Wonder

Insecurities, are hanging by a thread
While Impurities bang, imperfections that I dread
Maturities, clanging sounds of metallic waves, the
Obscurities impair vision of our own familiar ways, so I
Sit alone and wonder
Are you breaking out?

Know abrutly, that I am wrong
Though I swore I knew all along
Just don't, don't hold it against me,
I can't see me, like you see me, so I
Sit alone and wonder
Are you mistaken now?

Redemptions mesmerize by what is dead
Reading your notes, over again, and
There’s not a word that I even start to comprehend
Screaming infidelities, pain killers n' crystal lead, so I
Sit alone and wonder
Are you waking up?

Reminiscing, on memories meant to go
Emotions overflowing the rivers below
While the world only mistakes my pouts,
You bare through all the screams and shouts, So I
Sit alone and wondering,
Are you faking now?

Over-analyzations ‘cause the saddest songs
Vindicating what is restless, what is gone?
Interrogating the righteous wrongs
Isolating my selfish pawns, while I
Captivate the strongest bonds, So I
Sit alone and wonder
Are you escaping now?

Know I am flawed,
Matchbox 20 oh, so un-well
Wish I could see what you saw in me, now,
The things you said you saw yourself, so I
Sit alone and wonder
Are you aching now?
