What Makes the Earth?

Stars dim,
Black holes open,
Astroids thin,
Galaxies spin,
Bright lights glimmer,
Old stars shimmer,
Flickered craters appear
As spears in the atmosphere,
Clear as night,
Bright as day,
What makes the earth,
Go 'Round today?

Tides rush in,
Tornatic storms brew,
Green grass comes,
Hurricanes destroy youth,
Water runs dry,
As deserts cry, about as
Aloud, in doubt of,
Paper that speaks out,
As we drown,
In sorrow of the rain above,
Prayin to heavens for love, it's
Clear as night,
Bright as day,
What makes the earth,
Go 'Round today?

Changes come,
Changes go,
Wars are won,
As we battle foes,
On the edge,
Embracing the strength,
Of the ledge with our toes,
Towering up high,
As shattered windows collide,
From meterorites comin down,
Invading the cloudy sky, it's
Clear as night,
Bright as day,
What makes the earth,
Go 'Round today?

Ozone layers protect the rays,
Through deminional haze,
And as the smoke clears,
We run to the closest thing,
As the distance nears,
Rising as skyscrapers,
Satellites witnessing everything,
Every step, Every move
Reflects upon eyes in the moon,
And as the sun comes up
A reflection of myself,
Optics glaring into the everything else,
That I must prove to oneself, it's
Clear as night,
Bright as day,
What makes the earth,
Go 'Round today?

We do.
