Surrounded by the streets lights,
As they grace the paved dark city
I find a way, to reach out
In a way that seems so witty

Hoping you don’t see my pale and fragile scars
As they run deep through my luminescent arms,
So just in case, I’ll hide myself behind the shadows,
Sometimes life, yeah sometimes like seems so very far...

But, I wish that you could see
What all that’s left of me
Surrender broken dreams
Yet, I’m still trifling
But im all right, and
I don’t mind, if you don’t mind
I just want a reason to call you mine

A search for something real,

Just waiting on the clouds to break
Praying for a chance to take
I dream of you, dreamin’ of me
And those beautiful dark eyes, fall upon me
As times change,
I'll feel safe knowing you wont’ go away

I’ve been searchin for a place to go,
Somewhere to rest my head
Tired of being alone
And if theres room inside your head
Can’t I continue to rest mine there?
